Five keepers. A lot left to settle.
Ashton takes Jeremiyah Love first as the league completes its first draft after the dynasty era.
Fifty players stayed put. The league drafted 153 more. After playing dynasty from its founding through last season, There's No Crying in Fantasy has completed its first five-keeper draft, and the new rosters make a useful distinction: a reset does not mean everyone starts with the same problems.
Ashton, coming off a 2–12 regular season, used the first pick on rookie running back Jeremiyah Love. Love joins keeper Ashton Jeanty in a backfield that gives T-Law and Order something concrete to build around. Ashton followed with Zay Flowers at No. 20 and TreVeyon Henderson at No. 21. Those additions reach into both the weekly lineup and the bench; this was more than a single-player repair job.
The first round offered plenty for owners who preferred experience. Tony took Jameson Williams second. Ty followed with Bucky Irving, Jeremy selected A.J. Brown fourth, and Josh took David Montgomery fifth. Rashee Rice went to Evan at six, followed by Derrick Henry to Aaron. Four of the first seven selections were running backs, but they were hardly interchangeable bets: Love was the rookie at the top, while Henry supplied the veteran alternative six picks later.
Steven took DeVonta Smith eighth, Nicholas selected Joe Burrow ninth, and Todd closed the round with Tee Higgins. The defending champion then opened the second round with Caleb Williams. Todd could spend that turn on a receiver and a quarterback because Saquon Barkley and Bijan Robinson were already among his keepers. That is the practical effect of this format: the same draft board looks very different depending on the five players you brought into it.
Every team used all five keeper slots. The draft ran through 15 full rounds and three more selections in the 16th, ending with Jalen McMillan to Ashton at No. 153. There is no need to grade the whole exercise before anyone plays. The first useful questions are smaller: which additions get straight into the lineup, which preserved cores still carry a team, and who finds himself using the waiver wire sooner than he expected?
